Leyi Li is involved as a patent professional in proceedings before the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the German Federal Patent Court, the European Patent Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office, as well as the World Intellectual Property Organization.

Patent law, in particular application, opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office, inter alia in the fields of mechanical engineering (e.g. heat transfer technology, in particular heat pump systems and air conditioning systems), electrical engineering (in particular small household appliances, control systems) and software (e.g. control programmes for intelligent household appliances, artificial intelligence).

Leyi Li also specialises in trade mark law and has experience in analysing trade mark applications and preparing trade mark oppositions.

Leyi Li is particularly experienced in international cases related to China (e.g. European patent applications by Chinese clients, Chinese patent applications by German clients, oppositions and/or infringement issues in China, etc.).
